I visited the viewing areas in the park but particularly wanted to go on the Nike missile site tour. Superb, better than ever imagined, an enthusiastic ranger, ex military, that really knew his stuff, well prepared, ultra professional . The Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center is the first thing you come to after you enter the Everglades National Park from the east. It is significantly bigger that the other visitor centers on the north and east (Shark Valley, Royal Palm, and Flamingo...I haven't been on the west side, so I can't compare). They have a park movie and some...
