This is what happens when you don't take the advice of others..... after our zip line adventure we headed here....... worst decision ever. The Lavender Fields is a nice place to stop on the way to other sights in Kula, but I wouldn't drive far just to visit the fields. My Fiance and I came here on our "First Date" and then enjoyed a picnic in the fields of Poli Poli, where it's located. It was just so beautiful and peaceful. If you like places off the beaten path then the Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm will be a pleasing stop. If you are heading upcountry in Maui then stop by this quaint farm to see all the lavender growing and pick up some great products from the gift store. We stay at Lahaina and planned our trip to the Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm to include a stop for lunch at the Kula Lodge Restaurant (for the gorgeous views) and the Surfing Goat Dairy...all close by. There are guided tours for the farm, but we have always wandered around by ourselves and taken numerous pictures and visited the gift shop.... More
