We went there while in Washington, and found that is was much more pleasant to visit than the city... we got away from all the noise and spent the afternoon on the boardwalk... well worth a trip. The small stores you find there is recommended also, I think it was called Sues sweets... very good.

Small, quaint town with great canal views! Not many shops but enough to keep you busy for a few hours. Two or more waterfront restaurants to just sit, relax, eat and enjoy the view. About an hour from the Philadelphia, PA area. A nice place to visit for lunch or dinner and a few hours of shopping. I went on... More

DO NOT GO to this place all the bay full of plague of mosquitos, and bitte black flies (dangerous) beware with the kids and babies, the bite occur around face, and legs, some people have alergic reaction to this terrible bite, if get some alergic inmediatly go to the close hospital. the entrance for this terrible beach is 10 dollars... More

The trip aboard the beautiful Selinas II was tremendous and a wondersful way to spend the day on the Chesapeake Bay- well worth the money.
