Wow! What a fantastic vacation! We traveled to Indian Lake, New York in the heart of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains and stayed at the Lone Birch Motel. Everything was perfect. There was no traffic, no hustle-bustle. It was so peaceful... at night we could hear the "peepers" (tree frogs) and in the mornings we could listen to the loons on... more

on august 15, 2003 my husband, brother in law and myself went for our yearly camping trip to marcy dam. when we got there we told by numerous people that the bears were really bad this year and not to eat in your campsite after dusk or have any food in your site after dusk. 24 hours later we were... more
