We asked a ranger the day before to which beach to go and she recommended Second Beach to us. You have to look at the tide table to visit Second Beach at low tide. You can see many starfish and mussels in the tide pools then. There is a parking lot at the start of the way to the beach.... More

This is an incredible beach to explore and hang out during low tide. Do not go at high tide unless you are prepared to be blocked by mountains of drift trees (these can hardly be called logs, they are huge trees).
