Getting to Jefferson Memorial, as well as to many of the other D.C.'s monuments, requires a lot of walking. I absolutely love this memorial. I like it best in the evening around sundown or after sundown. I have never experienced as much of a crown at the Jefferson Memorial as I have at the other memorials/monuments around DC. It's a little bit of a walk but well worth it.
