The new museum in the theater basement had just opened and has some fascinating exhibits It definitely adds to the experience. The Ranger talk was also very good and moving. The Peterson House also should be seen, Although the lines look long, they moved quickly. more

I went to Ford's Theater a couple years ago. I thought it was a very interesting experience and I discovered some things that I hadn't known before. I would recommend going to the Theater to anyone in the area. It's just a little piece of history that you can be involved in. more

Visited the newly refurbished theatre. In the foyer was Lincoln's coat he was wearing at the time of his assasination. Took the "tour" of the newly renovated Ford's Theater. There was about 200+ people per timed, hourly entry. We were led into the orchestra section of the Theater and remained seated as the ranger delivered about a 30-minute oral presentation. Pictures were permitted in the Theater. I was surprised to see this attraction as low as the 50th+ ranked in the DC listing.
