This is a fine smaller art museum with excellent paintings by outstanding female painters such as;Elizabeth Vigee-Lebrun,Judith Leyster,Angelica Kauffmann,Berthe Morisot,Mary Cassatt,Gabrielle Munter,and Lavinia Fontana. Everything in this museum is well-labeled and well-explained. On a recent visit,I enjoyed their exhibit on females in ancient Peruvian and MesoAmerican times(emphasizing ceramic figures).
