Most people think they can walk from the Captial to the Lincoln memorial all in one day. Its a long walk and you need to understand that before trying to see all the sights. Break it up in to at least two days if you can!

It doesn't get much better than a stroll along the Mall to see the museums, monuments, The White House, and kids playing. Great for a jog, walk, picnic, or chance to sit and think.

This is a must for anyone visiting DC. It involves lots of walking but it is worth every bit of the effort. Each memorial and monument has its own special place in the heart of America. Don't miss seeing a single one.
