I have been going to this museum since I was just a baby. I do enjoy my visits, I just wish it was bigger.

This is a very impressive museum for a small town. A lot of animals from prehistoric to current Africa. And Mummies! i thought they were fake but they were real under glass and very interesting. Take and hour or two and see this, its worth your time.

Super interesting and high quality exhibits. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We live close and joined as a family & have seen so many benefits from our membership to an ASTC museum. Highly recommend this little gem.

We love the bird collection and small town feel. The orchid collection is also very good as is the gift shop.

I went during their Chocolate Exhibit. I was very impressed by that exibit, the way it was presented and the history of chocolate that was provided. The gift shop had very good price. The only part that I did not enjoy were the stuffed lion cubs in the Natural History exhibit.

We were in from VA, visiting family in the Oxford area (hubby's hometown). To pass time and for something "different", we visited the museum, as it had been many years since my husband had been here, and the first time for myself and our four tots. Although it was October, the outdoor gardens still, for the most part, were thriving... More

I have been there several times over several years and I find that the Museum is always inspiring and clean. I would love to see new displays..The Dinasaur display was one of my children's favorite and is now their childrens favrite..My tip would be to "let the public know which displays are closed before you let a four year old... The Anniston Museum of Natural History is worth a visit. It isn't very big, but they have a lot of interesting stuff. Given their size, they offered a lot of little things for younger kids to play around with.
