I am fortunate that I have been visiting this area for the past 25 years, and each time of the year that I am there is more beautiful than the last. I spend most of my time taking photographs since I have gotten to old to ski and hike like the earlier days.

We had so much fun at Aspen Highlands. There was a band playing on the Mountain Restaurant on the Patio. The Merry Go Round Restaurant has amazing food. We had a perfect day at Aspen Highlands!

Local's favorite and best kept secret. Don't miss the Highlands experience! The Cloud 9 Bistro perhaps the best restaurant in the valley and definitely the best views! I was an Ambassador/Mountain Guide there for ten awesome years! Highlands boasts the most extreme in-bounds skiing in North America but lots of fantastic intermediate riding too!

As an intermediate skier who loved Snowmass, I'm so glad we spent one of our 3 days skiing at the Highlands. The Highlands has the same friendly staff, an uncrowded lift area, and plenty of wide open trails ... great change of venue.

Trails for all levels of skiing. Plenty of shops and food at the base for those not skiing.

My first time skiing in the USA and this is a good place to do it. I think my favourite of the resorts in Aspen with Snowmass a close second.

Almost completely deserted for our entire stay Highlands is my favourite mountain by far. Hike the Highlands bowl or simply enjoy the immaculatly groomed runs from top to bottom. Cloud 9 offers excellent food at a price but well worth it for the views.

There is no shortage of beautiful views anywhere around Aspen, but my personal favorites were while skiing around the Highlands. The Ritz property at the base is wonderful. I believe the Lodge Peak is the highest elevation of all the lifts around Aspen. The Cloud 9 restaurant here is excellent. The skiing is great for intermediate blue level skiers.
