We always do the walk here on our trips to Anna Maria Island. This year we spotted dolphins, rays and a manatee. Plenty of birdlife - including a Skipper nesting site.

What can I say, I LOVE Anna Maria Island. We walk to Bean Point and it's so natural. The homes are set pretty far back. We looked for shells, saw lots of different birds and met some fantastic people.

Bean Point is one of my favorite places to visit, the beaches are white and sandy and VERY quiet and peaceful, perfect place to grab a book and take a nap!

This little stretch of beach is quiet and uncrowded. Water is that beautiful green to blue we see in Mexico and the Caribbean. Hard to find the access walks but well worth it.

...or the ocean. The locals take over this place on Sundays, get there early if you plan on getting a picnic table!

Beautiful beach, worth the trip up to the end of Anna Maria

This spot holds a very special place in my heart. The sunsets are spectacular!

Do not ever go there. Its horrible. Everywhere in Anna Maria is agianst tourism. Go someone else like Venice! Don't go to Anna Maria!!!!

We went to Anna Maria Island sadly to say it was not wat I was hoping for. Dont get me wrong the place is nice but it could be alot better. We went to the General Store Deli really nice place with very nice staff. The pier is in need of mayor repair unless they have it like that on... More
