The Snuba was a fun experience. It was a step above snorkeling with out the certification of scuba. The staff were so nice and helpful. You can dive down to a maximum of 25ft. Trying Snuba made me want to do scuba diving next time.

Not only did we snorkel at Hol Chan during the day, we also dove the area at night with our scuba group. Being from California, I was amazed by the marine life at Hol Chan! We watched as spotted eagle rays glided over us, and as sting rays burrowed into the sand. We saw many lime colored moray eels, crabs,... More

Snorkeled this site with my Study Abroad class (7 students and myself). We arrived just about noon when the tourists boats had left for lunch. Dropped into the water and was immediately surrounded by a school of large horse-eyed jacks. As we snorkeled towards the channel we saw large grouper, queen angelfish, Southern and Spotted Eagle rays, and the usual... More

We snorkeled Hol Chan and Shark/Ray Alley instead of diving and it was the best snorkeling I have done so far. Nice and calm but full of sting rays, eagle rays, turtles, eels, and nurse sharks. It is definitely a trip to do if you are in Belize. Our trip was an hour snorkeling at Hol Chan and an hour... More

This is an amazing feature of the country - however I did feel that Shark Ray Alley was crowded, and a neighbouring boat emptied a tub of lionfish blood, guts or whatever, near enough on my head. I don't know if I approve of so many tours going out to feed the sharks every day.

We went snorkeling at Hol Chan Marine Reserve in May 2012 and saw 3 sea turtles, a moray eel, small sharks, several sting rays, conch and a large variety of fish. This was my favorite experience while visiting Ambergris Caye. Our hotel arranged it for us for less than $40 per person, including rental equipment. If you are an inexperienced... More

We went on a tour with Tuff Enuff Tours as they had a location at our resort. Great tour! The whole tour was by boat, the guide literally gave the admission tickets to a police officer sitting on a boat in the middle of the water. We had all been snorkeling several times before in varying locations and agreed that... More
