I loved the tour. It was a bit of a long bus ride but Mariam was full of info and happy to relate life in belize and with the mayans to American culture. The tour of the ruins was great too. so much fun. I booked through carnival and i would so do it again! It was a great part...

We booked through Carnival with Baka Bush tours for an excursion to the Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. Our tour guides were awesome!! They were willing to take any questions, interesting, and very informative. It was about a 1.5 hour bus ride and they made the time pass quickly. We booked this tour through Carnival and were extremely pleased with Bak-A-Bush guides, Mirasol and Louverne! We were entertained during the long bus ride, and thoroughly enjoyed the meal at San Ignacio after the Ruins.
From San Ignacio, you have to cross the Mopan River, by Hand Cranked Ferry.
