Book this tour with Carnival, not worth the $50. Very long, choppy ride from ship to beach. The beach turned out to be a man made beach, water full of stones. Not worth the hassle.

While taking the tender from the Carnival Legend to Belize City, my husband mentioned we wanted to go to Bannister Island. A crew member hooked us up with a family of 15 from Canada with the same plan. He said we could better negoiate price with more people and suggested to find "Harold" on the pier. We got a boat...

We spent a half day on Bannister Island and enjoyed it. I booked it through RCI mainly because with two small kids we did not want to tender and we got picked up and returned directly to the ship. I'm not sure if you can book this directly but if so you would have to tender which is about 15-20...

We visited Bannister Island as an excursion while on a cruise. It was very nice, the staff was friendly and the food was good. The tender from our ship was only about 15 minutes long to the island. There is lots to do on the island for kids and adults. I would go there again.
We arragnged to go to Bannister Island as a shore excursion thru NCL. It included a beach chair and nothing else. We weren't expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised when we got there and found the place almost empty. There were plenty of chairs, and a roped off swimming area. There is also a bar, gift shop, and a...

Booked this beach excursion through Norwegian cruise. It was actually a better price than booking through other tour providers I searched online. Booking through ship had tender boat take you directly to island, vs ship to shore to island.
Island was beautiful. Went during spring break, so it was a little busy, but not a big deal. We picked a...

We visited Bannister Island/Bannister Caye for a morning while on a Carnival cruise. It is a beautiful Island. We were one of the first groups there so we easily found chairs right on the beach...later on in the day people were looking for chairs. The beach is really pretty...but I would recommend water shoes because there are small seashells everywhere....

Just recently got back from our NCL cruise and Belize was one of our stops. Not knowing what to expect in Belize city our family decided to do the Bannister island excursion. The island itself is very close to the port and within 15 minutes your sitting on your beach lounger looking out at the beautiful blue water. The island...

Everything you need is here for a great day of Sun & Sand on a beach!
The island wasn't very big but if you wanted somewhere private without a lot of company this was great! The food was very good and so was the service.
