If you want to meet one of the most famous animal in America, you must to visit Belize Zoo. There´s a interesting research and conservation program of jaguar. Body is a young and charismatic jaguar who lives there. Also you can see the tapir (Baird´s tapir), a large mammal who is endangered. It´s a great place in a beautiful country.

This is a small zoo, but it´s charming. Dirt paths, lots of trees and bushes and only local animals. The zoo has native Belize animals kept in natural habitats. The best thing about the zoo is that the animals are not captured from the wild, rather they are rescue animals. Very educational and a great way to see Belize wildlife.
