i know it like the back of my hand for i was raised in the church. it is full of history and beautiful art and culture. original architecture

It is a beautiful and very special Cathedral. When you go inside, you can see the magnificient ceiling of this church. Absolutely worth a visit.

Belize City has lots of nice buildings in good condition - this is one of the older ones and is fairly well preserved

Location: South end of Alberta Street or Regent Street, about 1 kms past the Swing Bridge, across Regent from the House of Culture, a block off the harbour. While visiting the Cultural Center nearby, we visited St. John's, which is a bit of living history. Built in 1812, it shows the wear of tropical weather and insects.
