The ATM is everything I had read about, an amazing place. The huge caverns, calcite stalagtites/-mites are breathtakingly beautiful. Its an unbelievable feeling walking through the cave. You walk up river taking the same path the ancient Maya did over a thousand years ago. This was an amazing adventure and I highly recommend it to others. You are exploring a wet cave so if you're not ok with small spaces, darkness, (harmless) bats, and having to wade or swim across pools of water, then this wouldn't be a good experience for you.
