The site was quite difficult to get to but it was a fun ride! We went through Amish territory, drove through a creek, and slowly made our way down bumpy roads. The cave was beautiful and well worth the drive there. You'll see one skull and a couple pieces of pottery.

We were skeptical about the cave at first because we could not find many pictures or videos of what it was like inside. We were wrong! Pictures and videos are hard to take once inside but the cave is incredible. Being able to row through it in calm waters meant we had time to really take it all in and... More

We were impressed by the size of the cave, the formations, and the Mayan ruins inside. Easy to paddle our own canoe, Mario was an excellent guide. Passed Amish buggies on the way there, nice grounds and facilities at the entrance.

highly recommended for all, laid back tour, we did it with our 7 year old, he loved it, especially since our guide assigned the most important task to him (holding the big flashlight to guide the canoe through the cave). There is some adventure, some education, relaxation, history and fun. The cave is amazing! We used Pacz for this tour.

It was a great trip that only took a half day. Go as early in the day as possible. As we were leaving at noon there were a lot of people just arriving. It was great to go early, because we had the mile-long cave to ourselves.

Blancenaux Lodge tour guide was excellent. Canoeing through the caves was fascinating. A must in the Belize Rainforest.
