Nim Li Punit may be one of the lesser Mayan ruins, however it boasts a most impressive obelisk and a gaming arena that allows visitors to imagine how the games might have been played. “Very nice site, small and peaceful”

I enjoyed visiting Nim Li Punit with my family. It is a small site and not very crowded. My 5&7yr old daughters had a blast. The structures are not the most impressive, but the stella are. The two massive carved stella are very impressive.

We visited Nim Li Punit during a recent trip to Punta Gorda. Located about an hour from PG it was a nice stopping point as we headed North to Corozal. If you want a site all to your self... This is it. Check it out if you are also going to Lubaantun. The reliefs are quite impressive. The ruins aren't large and won't blow you away or anything. But it is a very peaceful and beautiful place.
