The Palacio Nactional was an interesting stop, but I would not make a big effort to see it if it wasn't included on a tour itinerary.

The murals are gorgeous! Plus you get to lear a lot about Guatemalan history. There is a daily ceremony that takes place where a white rose is replaced as a symbol of peace.

One of the oldest buildings with history in the heart of the city. This used to be the presidential palace.
