Just got back from our cruise. Booked the "Pirates, Monkeys and Birds" excursion through Carnival. You cannot do this excursion cheaper on your own. We loved this shore excursion from our cruise (Jan 2009). We visited both the park and went snorkeling on the Jolly Roger catamaran. Both are not to be missed! We did the zip line and park package. The price was 55$ per person. We felt the price was a bit high. The zip line was very cool and took quite a while there are 17 different lines, slow to fast. This was our first time and we really enjoyed it. Our guide was Frank and he was very helpful... more

Of all of the places, this was my favorite stop our cruise ship made. It was absolutely gorgeous! We booked the monkeys, pirates, and birds excursion from our boat, and in the end we had admission to the Gumbalimba Park. It was beautiful! Tiki huts, crystal clear waters, excellent snokeling.
