We happened to rent a jeep, so felt like we should give the crazy road down to the valley a try. People should definitely comply with the "4 wheel drive only" sign -- the jeep handled it fine, but I very much doubt a two wheel drive car would make it back up given how steep and slippery the road... Went horseback riding in the Valley with a large group of family/couples. Absolutely beautiful, although I got eaten up by mosquito and was somewhat miserable! Also, dress in layers.
