Cpt. Dee was responsive. Arrangements were easy. Trip was great. I had fun and caught three fish.

Targetting one species of fish, out of all the species in the ocean is pretty presumptuous, but that is exactly what I did, twice, targetting the Blue Marlin in late May 2011 and the Spearfish in April of 2012. Hawaiian weather, temperature, tides, and water temperatures fluctuate as often as the tradewinds and currents, so I booked multiple days for... More

For the past two years, spring break vacation has meant The Big Island with two amazing days with High Noon Sportfishing! This year my 17 year old son landed his first Striped Marlin! Captain Dave worked like a trojan to find us fish and was just as pumped as we were when successful! In addition to the extremely, exciting moments... More

We came from Washington State for a family vacation. Our 13 year old grandson had never caught a fish before, so you can imagine the excitement of landing a 40 pound spearfish within 30 minutes of getting in the chair. Captain Dave was great - knowledgeable, professional and an all around great guy. We had 3 generations of our family... More

High Noon was a fantastic experience. Captain Dave was not only attentive to the fishermen in our group, he also made sure the wives were informed on what he looked for to find fish and entertained with the scenery. He was pleasant and fun and made the experience very positive. I'd recommend High Noon to anyone considering a private charter... More

I traveled from San Diego to Kona and called several charter companies. High Noon was the most responsive and gave me the real time scoop on fishing, tides and water conditions. There prices were fair and reasonable compared to other charter companies. I spoke with Dee and Diamond Dave multiple times before booking a 4 hour charter and it was... More

I will keep this short and sweet, although I could rave for pages and pages. I personally had an awesome experience with HighNoon Sportfishing. From my first contact with them I noticed the high level of service that they offer. Captain Dee asked me how he could personalize my charter to make for the fishing experience that I was seeking…sweet!... More

We were on a cruise ship and my son wanted to go sport fishing. So we booked a shore excersion with about 20 other people. They divided us up and myself, wife, 2 daughters and my son went with the High Noon. We had no idea what we were in for. We left the dock and had dolphins following the... More

My husband Claude and I chartered HighNoon last week for a 3/4 day charter. We had originally thought about a half day charter but after talkin with the captain, decided on a 3/4 day because tha would increase our chances at catching a big fish. Boy was he right! We caught a small Dorado early in the morning, then went... More
