The first half of the hike is along the Na Pali coast to Hanakapi`ai beach (don't swim here, very dangerous). From the beach follow the trail inland to the falls. The falls were beautiful, but the hike to get there was really strenuous. I'm no hiking wimp, but the trail was muddy, rocky and steep. Plus, it's not that well marked and easy to miss (especially on the way back). The good thing though is the roughness of the trail keeps a lot of people away. The falls are impressive. more

I dont think the hike to falls was worth it. Too hard for a small site to see. more
