A wonderful memory for both of my kids. The staff was excellent working with the kids and teaching them about the dolphins. My son did the trainer for a day (for the early morning time slot) in which he got to go behind the scenes and see how they sort fish and take care of the dolphins. He gave commands... more

My husband and I opted to do this excursion after much research in reading the reviews on Trip Advisor for Dolphin Quest Oahu and other tour companies. I had even read some negative comments from individuals adamantly against dolphins in captivity, which made me feel sad, however, if the animals are going to be in captivity, we felt they should... more

Yes, it's expensive (WAY expensive) but it was a fantastic experience. My mother, who is intent on being the most indulgent grandmother of all time, put my boys (7 and 9) into the kids program in the morning *and* we all did the family program in the afternoon. Both were excellent. The kids do two hours, but only 20 minutes... more

My family and I enjoyed the DQ experience. I rated it as above average, based on two factors: (1) The dolphins were very well taken care of and the employees were friendly and genuine. (2) My son (3 yrs) LOVED everything about his interaction with Kaleho (dolphin). Our whole purpose to go there was because of our son and we... more

This was an amazing experience. only 2 of us with the trainer and the dolphin. Got to feed him, play and swim with him. I had previously swam with dolphins in Key Largo, and the experience there did not compare with here. It was much more impersonal in Key Largo. Great and friendly staff. Totally recommend this to anyone. more

I took my 80 year old mother because I thought it would be a new and fun experience to swim with the dolphins. It was recommended by my Oahu Revealed book, which said it was better than the competing Sea Life Park. It was a totally controlled experience, which I understand is for the benefit of the dolphins, which did... more

Our 10 & 12 year olds were in the children's program on July 14/05 in the morning session. We had booked early on-line (back in May) as we knew there would be limited spots. When we were arrived, our 12 year old was rather apprehensive as the majority of kids in the program were probably an average age of 8... more

We scheduled our trip to Oahu around Dolphin Quest's ("DQ") availability to schedule us. The encounter permits 6 people at a time. When it came time for our encounter, we were allowed to touch the dolphins, but not swim with them as other programs permit (i.e., dolphins push you through the water on your feet or by you holding a... more
