This was so much fun. You really do see a lot, and the kids still talk about this as the highlight of the trip. If you get seasick, the ride out can be a bit rocky, but one in the sub you don't notice a thing. We had a great time.

Since we didn't go diving, this was our way of seeing the underwater (up to 120 ft deep) action. Of course, my boys also loved being in a submarine. We saw lots of beautiful kinds of fish and a big turtle too. A boat brings you to the submarine and back to the pier after. We took nice picture of... More

Take a 15 minute ride out and transfer to the submarine and then a 45 minute ride. Another 15 minute boat ride back. The boat ride gives you a great view of Waikiki and Diamond Head. They have quite a few artificial reefs they have created by sinking old ships and planes in what would be a relatively flat area... More

One of the highlights of our Hawaii cruise. A real opportunity to do something completely different from the usual excursions. Crew and commentary were great and there were numerous different fish to see - plus a turtle and 2 scuba divers. If Atlantis could just organise a whale or two it would be perfect!

The whole experience of going underwater in a passenger submarine was awesome. Seeing some marine life (you get what you get on the day) including plane and shop wrecks plus a giant turtle was fabulous. All the staff were professional, courteous and loved the commentary (provided a laugh as well as good information). Would recommend.

We went last month and took the 12pm tour at the Lahaina Harbor in Maui. It is quite expensive (we paid $89/pp + taxes/fees). You take a small boat to sea (not too far about 10 minutes) to hop onto the submarine. You get to see it come up which was cool and it was well organized. As we enter... More

The submarine was great! The best part was seeing all the ocean life! It was very cool and we loved it! Some things we seen from the sub was 2 shipwrecks,Seaturtles, a reef Shark, a plane that sunk fish and more.( it depends where the sealife is) The space was a little small, but we did not care. The narrator... More

I took my 3 kids on this adventure; 4, 8 an 16 years old. You take a 5 min boat ride from the Hilton Pier out to the submarines. Seeing a submarine emerge from the ocean was pretty cool. Your adrenaline is still high as you enter the ship, however as quickly as the submarine enters the water the excitement... More

First off, we got a great deal. Our 4 and 8 yr olds got a free ticket with an adult ticket purchased. The trip over was choppy, but watching the submarine come up was neat to watch. We saw a few fish and man made reefs. It was a good experience, but not one to repeat. Given the normal price,... More
