I go to Morocco every year, as my wife is Moroccan. On three of our visits we went to Casablanca and of course we went past the Royal Palace. Unlike other countries none of the Royal palaces are really accessible. The one or Rabat you can see a bit, but this one here is COMPLETELY CLOSED for the public.

We were able to see this from the cab. Couldnt take pictures which made it a little less memorable. huge though
Worth to pass-by and have a look. It was not open for visit, but for being seen from a distance, when I went there.
First of all it was near where the people of Casablanca lived. The area appeared to be middle class which announces the King's closeness to his people. The Royal Palace is actually inaccessible, (at least when we were there). It's surrounded by large walls and guards on all sides. It's in a slightly nicer area than the rest of the city, so it's nice to walk on streets that aren't as dirty for once.
