The building is amazing, giant and very, very beautiful! The tour guides are very gentle and explain everything.

If like many Westerners you find the old walled medinas a little intimidating and crowded, head to the new medina for a calmer more open experience. Lots of nice cafes and friendly sellers - you'll still get chance to batter, but it feels altogether more relaxed for those not used to the real thing - maybe a good way to... More

Now if you want to see a Medina in Morocco than don't waste your time on this one, unless this is your last day and you still have to buy souvenirs, because of course you have everything here, but that is it... The nice interesting (and old) Medina's are in Rabat, Fez or Marakech not here and don't let the... More

Was not sure if this is the modern row of shops (ie. the high street). Kept being told different things about it. Not sure we found it - if it was not the main drag by the Kenzi Towers not sure where it is. Did the Old Town and the Habous Quarter (Central Market)

No where as much fun as the Medina in Rabat, Fes or Marrakech. Too many stalls selling t-shirts etc. in Casablanca.

If you can't find it here, you won't find it in Morocco. Shoes, jewelry, crafts, arts, ceramics. CAMEL meat! A must-not-miss when in Casablanca, for sure!

I liked this area, with its labyrinth of narrow streets, taking the visitor to well-kept, elegant riads, a myriad of shops selling new or antique Moroccan or African artifacts or restaurants and traditional pastry shops. In the depth of the New Medina, I discovered a Museum of Andalusian Music, organized by the Casablanca Association of Andalusian Music, in a well-renovated... More

Small area of artisanal and tourist-type stalls and shops. Pleasant stroll.
