Gemma is a fantastic host and guides you through the souks to buy the food and then takes you back to the Riad in the souks to prepare and cook a delicious meal. We loved this experience, Gemma is very friendly, funny and helpful. We would highly recommend this course and it was one of the highlights of our holiday.

Best thing was shopping at the souks whe Gemma get's you in touch wih the locals and shows she's very well integrated in the Marrakech society. Thewokshop in itself was very basic. No room for own interpretation and creativity. Nonetheless a great expercience. Try the recipe as soon you get home and relive Marrakech!

The workshop consisted of a guided 2 hour walk through the Medina to find ingredients for our cookery course followed by a 2 hour class in a riad located within 2 minutes from the souks. Definitely worth doing. It was a good way to experience real Marrakesh life, shopping in the souks for food and then cooking it following a Moroccan recipe. It was enjoyable exploring the souks with someone who knows their way around them!!!
