Architecture is impressive so nice for some photo opportunities. Once inside we were greeted by a guide who just went straight into his tour pitch so after 5 minutes of talking felt obliged to keep him, A friendly man who spoke limited English but you could make out the basics to get the jist of what you are exploring! Little or no interpretation or highlights but an intersting insight into the life of Islamic students and the architecture of functional buildings of the period. Interesting but not exciting

A great introduction to fabulous Moroccan tiles, carving, and overall style. Be sure to go upstairs for a view of the courtyard from above.

Go inside and visit the place, buy a combi-ticket for the Musée de Marrakech and the Medersa. Our visit was part of a guided tour, our guide explained a lot about the history and architecture.

Doesnt take long to see. We were unfortunately nabbed by a 'guide' who tried to tell us about the building but didnt speak English, ended up paying for a 3min tour we couldn't understand!

Is well worth the time to visit this as the architecture in the courtyard is amazing. The rooms are so tiny, it gives a real sense of what a medersa was like for the students who attended. There are guides available outside and there is a small entrance fee but you are allowed to take photos.

the architecture of this beautiful old madras is stunning. you could look at it all day. there's such a serenity here. its a very busy tourist spot. so you have to be patient if you're taking photos for people to move on. not to be missed...

highly recommend. get ready to take lots of photos. There could be more signage and explanation but that is typical of all of Marakesh.

To enjoy and admire the Morrish work. You need to visit Ali Ben Youssef Mederasa which is the real sample of the beautiful hand made work on the basis of carved cedar - the intricate plaster work and the gorgeous Marble. Don't miss this place in Marrakech it is a real experience.
