For my first three days in Marrakech in early March, it seemed like there were few tourists. But this place was very crowded with tourists. I'm sorry I didn't take the advice I read about going there first thing in the morning. more
This is a lovely garden and was probably my favourite site in Marrakech (other than the daily goings on at the Jemaa el Fna). It is quite small. I too expected it to be larger, but it was lovely and well worth it. The mere juxtaposition of palm trees and cactus gardens make it worth it as does the Majorelle... more
I would say take a few minutes before travelling and read up on the history of the garden and its relative recent restoration (its not boring , honest!) It is a pleasant getaway, as other reviewers have said. My wife and I did see plantation and beauty we had not previously encountered and did feel very relaxed and cool as... more
Went to the Majorelle Gardens recently, very pleasant gardens with some very impressive plants and architecture. Great way to escape the city, its very peaceful inside and all the water and greenery makes you feel cooler & calmer. There is also a museum of islamic arts (we didnt go in as you had to pay extra), a small boutique and... more

When I got there I found that it was very crowded, with tourists occupying every bench and people walking along every path. The blue building and colourful pots lining the... more
This garden had plants and flowers from all of over the world, which were pretty interesting to look at. However the best thing was that you could walk around in pleasant and cool surroundings unlike the medina in marrakech where its usually too hot! more
While I love hustly, bustly Marrakech, there are some times when you want a bit more tranquility and you'll find it here. The Jardin Majorelle is about a 25 min walk from the Djeema - I recommend getting a cab instead! The Jardin Majorelle was created by the artist Jacques Majorelle and has a huge cactus collection, as well as... more
Enfin un endroit frais plein de verdures et de charme!Parfait pour souffler un peu des tumultes de la Medina!Situé dans... more
