This palace is a great photo opportunity with amazing tiles, wooden painted roof, archways and tranquil courtyards. It can get a little crowded when the tours arrive but late afternoon seemed to be a good time. Easy to walk too from the square. Well worth a visit.

Although you can't go in the royal palace it is very pretty and tranquil to walk around the outside and get a feel for marrakech outside of the medina.
