Liked the location, the scale of the site and the condition of the remains. Entry fee was ridiculously cheap! Disliked the lack of info available in English and difficulty finding a taxi out but that's bad planning on my part and I made assumptions.

Not as complete as Herculaneum or Pompeii but up there with them. Excellent mosaics in situ and extesive remains. Enlivened by the rush of flowers following april rain and the resident storks feeding their young in their nests. The site opens at 8.00 and it is best to get there as soon as possible after as it is extesive and...

In Volubilis, you can really get an idea of how an ancient Roman city was like. The Arch of Triumph and other monuments are really well preserved, as some of the mosaics also are. Definitely worth a visit!

This was probably the best Roman ruins I've visited. Very good restoration so that you could really understnad how the houses mightr have looked. Well preserved mosaics. The stork nesting on the columns was the icing on the cake.
Not at all crowded, outstanding mosaics to view, our guide was very knowledgeable, just a beautiful, peaceful place.
Incredibly well preserved roman mosaics. You can get bus to Moulay Idriss from Meknes. Volublis is only about 30 minutes walk from Moulay Idriss.
We toured Volubilis (Walili) while visiting my nephew and his wife in Fes. We had a fabulous guide named Taha who speaks English very well. He is extremely knowledgeable about the ruins and provided detailed facts about the mosaic floors. His commentary about the ruins gave life to the site.
Unfortunately it was raining when we were there! It was literally a mudpool! The site itself was beautifull!!!
Lots of great preserved stuff here. Make sure to look at the mosaic details that have survived for so long. Get a tour-guide to take you through, as on your own it's difficult to know what you're looking at.
