Chellah is a really nice place to see the history of the various factions that have ruled the area over the centuries. The site is poorly marked and all the signs are in French or Arabic. That said we found a guy at the site who gave short tours in English that were very helpful for just a few Dirham...

Apart from the nice ruins, meet with ~200 storks! Nice location outside the center of town.
interesting ruins, both Roman and Islamic, great place to see local people enjoying themselves, and then there's the storks!
Really fun to see such a large Roman ruins site. Very easy to wander through and enjoy. Get a tour though as without it the site can be confusing.
Interesting mixture of cultures,with tombs, many storks nesting, and ancient walls.
We went on a Tuesday, and there were not many people, only one tour bus and a number of small groups. Necropolis, now more of a Stork-fest. There are not real sites to see, or things to do. No signs. But an interesting place with a view.
