Dar Cherait Museum was nothing special at all. Of course you can see from the inside a Tunisian house (a rich one actually), but the exhibits were not so many and it's more like a private collection .

Dar (=house) Cherait, is a place created by the love of a local wealthy man, and major of Tozeur for years, Mr Cherait to all things that have to do with history and tradition of Tunisia. if you have other things to do, or would rather walk about the town, I'd suggest that instead. The museum is rather small, but it is interesting. If you have the time, see if - if not, pass and enjoy the great city!
