Makola is a must see-however, don't plan to go there to purchase hand carved authentic african crafts. it's pretty much where locals go to purchase things we could easily get in america-western clothes, cosmetics, etc. more

I was in Accra for 11 days and i got the oportunity to visit the market. it reminded me of a market in my country only that this time it was more orderly.
