This is a very beautiful park with fountains. It has an arch with the words "Freedom and Justice" on it. It's so beautiful I stocked up on post cards with the arch on it to bring home. more

Definitely worth a quick stop on the way to the National Museum. Very well kept park and beautiful symbolic monument building surrounding the tomb of Dr. Nkrumah and his wife. It incorporates both Ghanaian and Egyptian symbology in the style since his wife was Eqyptian. A small museum is behind the monument and guides provide a detailed walkthough in English... more
