THe iron house is a very interesting work of architecture. The building is very impressive from the outside, but we were disappointed with the inside of the house. Most of the doors are locked and there is not much going on. The house is close to the cathedral and well worth seeing if you are in the area.

Gustav Eiffel's Iron House is exactly that, i box like house made from iron. Only go if you have time to kill in Maputo. I'd rather spend time at the markets or walking the streets or the marginal.
