Beautiful architecture and stained glass windows Lovely view from the hill
It would have been good if it was used more, its a very historical landmark.
It remains arguably the most impressive landmark in Windhoek which is otherwise a bit of a dull city in terms of sightseeing.
One of the notable venues in Windhoek. Lonely Planet describes it's architecture as reminescent of a giant "gingerbread house"
Definitely one of the main things to see when visiting Windhoek. You can't always go in, but it is beautiful from the outside to.
This is the oldest church in Namibia & it is a very good location to visit
Very clean, neat location. Slightly elevated and offers brilliant views of the neighborhood. Looks especially nice with the evening sun bathing the church facade in brilliant light. Overall, a lovely place to visit
Probably the most photographed building in Namibia. Now stands in the shadow of the new Independence Memorial but at the right angle you can still get a brilliant shot.
Brilliant architecture and one of Namibia’s greatest heritages.
Church like back home. I am a protestant and I think that that feels quite familiar.
