Whilst on business in Kigali I decided to visit the Memorial centre. It's a very emotional experience and is definately a place that everyone should visit. Over 1 million died during the genocide in 1994 and this centre carefully and sensitively guides you through this horrific expisode. This is probably one of the saddest places you will ever go, but it is definitely a must-see because the genocide is still so much a part of Rwanda (and probably always will be).
