I visited Goree Island in 2007. The island was great, but I don't think you can go there without seeing the "La Maison des Esclaves"- it's truly a touching experience. You can see all the "rooms" where the slaves were kept, along with the "door of no return" where the slaves walked out of before being shipped off. The "Maison"... more
