Near Boudnath Stupa - about 100m up the narrow street to Tinchuli. Much cheaper here than the other spa's in town. Big wooden building - big airy wooden treatment rooms. Gentle music in background. Professional people giving the treatments. I had a Shiatso, 90mins, I think it was less than 1000 Nrps (£10). Found it on our last day -... more

This Buddhist temple is right in the city and a relatively small complex, but grande in scale. There are tons of prayer wheels at the base of the stupa. You'll smell incense burning everywhere. The stupa is surrounded by houses that contain shops on the bottom floor. There were few beggars and no monkeys. more
