From afar, I cant help but taken in by the magnificent architecture design of this place of worship. It has a very serene setting and surrounding as I walked around inside the compound.

Amazing intricate temple design, read it was built in 1700s by Fujian migrants. Even if you are not religious, do visit this temple by day or night and look at the inner temples. People come here to pray even during the evenings/night.

This temple is impressive and set within grounds which include a small waterfall. The temple was not too crowded and offered an interesting insight into the religious traditions of Taipei.

I didnt know the temple was actually used until we went in there with our tour guide and saw all the people offering prayers to their Gods. I felt awkward walking through it.

Taiwanese prays to many gods. this place is one of the bigger temples in taipei that has many god statues in it. if you are a chinese god devotee, you must go take a look. if you are in taipei for the first time, it is a nice place to look around and learn about their culture.

The treasures incased within can only be believed through seeing them, no description can come close to conveying their majesty and ornateness. No pictures allowed so the only way you are seeing these remarkable works of craftsmanship is to go there.

This temple is interesting compared to other temples you might visit in Taipei as it is very active with the local population. It is beautiful, but honestly no more striking than many other temples, but the rush of people and locals worshiping there make the trip definitely worth it. Around the temple are some local food stalls, which are touristy,... More
