It was fun but I didnt see anything new there. The shops are pretty much just like what one can find in cities all over Asia. Some foods are interesting, they are sold in carts. But strangely at one point they all ran away. So I assumed they were illegal and the police must have been there to inspect....

We stayed here and highly recommend this suburb as it is one stop to Taipei Main Station and a lot to experience as you wander around, lots of eateris and goodies to try here. This place can fufil your dining and shopping desire. You could spend a whole day here if you want and there are few cinemas in this area as well. It's a must go!

This reminds me of Causeway Bay, HongKong! It's like an upscale night market (evidenced by the many big company-sponsored billboards and signages), which clean WIDE streets for people to walk around, very well-lighted, and mid-range priced store chains. Wide array of shops and at very good prices too. The clothes were very trendy and I bought 8 shirts in one shop at one go. Definitely cheaper than say, Singapore and Bangkok.
