Great place to see China's ancient artefacts, painting and calligraphy, statues of many eras, jade, bronze, iron, pottery etc. You won't find some of these in China and mainland Chinese come to Taipei just to see what they have lost.

Amazing collection with all the highlights of Chinese art. Only drawback is the endless mainland Chinese tourists. Try to go around lunch or mid week when it's quieter.

biggest collection of artifacts in the world, this is a must see place when in Taipei. Expect lots of people, our visit was a guided one and that is preferable to see the most important objects unless you have plenty of time to discover them yourselves.
