A unique building on its own. Took photos of it from across the street which is good enough.
We went on the monthly open house day and found ourselves engulfed in tour groups. It was a real struggle to make our way around. Unfortunately there simply isn't very much of great interest inside and we were glad to get out.
The sole highlight was getting our pictures taken with a cardboard cutout of the President. But I doubt...

My colleague wanted to see this and I obliged but was not impressed.
This building was a great way of getting an overview of the history of Taiwan. It was informative and worth going to if you like to know about the history and culture of TW.
The Presidential Office Building in Taipei is basically the Taiwanese equivalent of visiting the White House in Washington DC. It's the working office of the President of Taiwan, and visitors are permitted to tour through the lower courtyard and view a variety of interesting historical displays documenting the political and cultural history of Taiwan.

This building is nothing to go out of your way for. We did get lucky and see performers and a sports festival that was going on. This was on New Years Day so I'm sure it isn't like that very much.
