The temple is in the heart of the city but it's so peaceful.

Small, peaceful wat - worth having a look if you are passing by. An almost unbelievable amount of marble went in to the construction of this place!

An absolutely stunning temple, beautiful design and the marble exterior is something to see. A very important temple and there was a lot going on with the monks who were very friendly and were keen to answer any questions. Well worth the visit.

I have seen places like this in other contries. (singapore etc) and I like to see the sculptures and effigies in all their glorious colours. I introduced some Polish friends to this temple and many photos were taken. It is one of many temples and wats in BKK.

This was a wonderful relaxing temple to enjoy. It is a pretty big spread of different buildings, but was a nice change from the Grand Palace.

This is the temple you can see on the five baht coin and it is worth a see if you really love Thai temples. Basically, this is a Thai temple covered in marble. You have to pay a modest entrance fee to take about a ten or fifteen minute tour. It is a beautiful place--something a bit different than a... More

Different from the other temples in Bangkok...simpler but in many ways just as beautiful. Somewhat near the Gold Mount, if you're visiting that. Also, somewhat off of the usual tourist route so nice that it's less crowded.
