The Emerald Buddha is actually nothing great. It's very small and you can't take pics inside. But the temple and it's surroundings are beautiful. It's connected to the Grand Palace. more

Part of visiting the Grand Palace is seeing the emerald buddha definately worth visiting but nothing exceptional in itself, although the number of tourists would seem to suggest otherwise. Lots of Thai people seem to be on a pilgrimage to see it and your not supposed to take a photo inside the temple - of course theirs always one! more
