Shining, Shimmering Splendid. There are people who are trying to divert you to some place and try to make money from you never listen to the local people outside the Temple. Never wear reavealing clothes no tube / no sleeveless dresses, men should wear pants no shorts.

Beautiful to see. Felt so good to sit in silence inside the temple. It was a hot day and we were kind of feeling bad. But a few minutes in front of the buddha and we felt so much better and energised. Magical.

Again, the statue itself is almost unbelievable in it's beauty and detail and the history behind it is a great tale also. Check it out.

I forced my wife and toddler around the sites and this one was worth it too! What a history - and what culture. Worth it!

It was fantastic to see something so old but so well preserved, but the crowds are spoil the experience a bit.

The Emerald Buddha in itself is quite little - even though I knew it was small, I was still surprised by just *how* small. You actually have to look quite hard to find it at first! It's still well worth the effort (and the crowds) for it's cultural and religious significance. The temple complex it's located in is also very... More

It was a little underwhelming considering the heat and the size of the structure itself. the internet pictures make it look much larger. also photos are not allowed inside. We also found out that the emerald Buddha isn't actually emerald but Jade. That was a little disappointing. WE had to take off our shoes before entering which I thought was pretty... More
