We decided to take the Skytrain from BITEC to our hotel in Sukhumvit. It took us less than 15 minutes to reach our stop. Way cheaper and faster than taking a taxi!

When you don't feel like sitting in the traffic again watching your meter taxi tick away (who does) take the Skytrain - it is easy to understand and easy to use and it is the fastest way to most major places you probably want to go. Easy choice.

Ease of access, and a good and 'cool' way to get around station on current routes reasonably well located, not too congested yet!

It was my main mood of transport all the time I was in Bangkok. Very efficient and good. Though bit crowded at times. Wish they had more ticketing machines at busy stations like siam. Of course for short distances its better off with taxis. Should also cover more areas.
